..... HAPPINESS!

naanima: (happy house)
I have a mostly full casket of wine in my possession (not anymore) and much loot. Life is really, really, really good at the moment.

Have been watching Gankutsuo, expect some form of blathter about it in the next few days. Got my crappy Chinese subbed Yu Yu Hakusho working (this is after 4 years plus of not of my computer not recognising the files). However, after a 30 episodes binge during the weekend I'm taking it slow. Yuusuke is still the BEST! The action sequence is like a million times better than some of the newer fighting anime series that came out (I have major issues with the Bleach anime series.)

In addition, does anyone else feel as if fandom in general has become really hard to keep track of?

No, you're not the only one. I just got caught up on the WJ series I'm following (Whee, Orochimaru and Kabuto back. You are one of the few people on my flist who would second that. XD), and I can't find translations of some of the raws I have. -_-

YAY! Man, I love Orochimaru and Kabuto, from what I have heard (purely second hand spoilers), Konoha isn't all lily-white as they depict themselves to be. Using Orochimaru's technique even though he is classified as a S-class criminal becuase of his, um, amoral research. I really can't wait for a major shake down of Konoha.

I honestly dislike Konoha. Sand, at least had the guts to hate Gaara outright (before he became fully homocidal), while Leaf present themselves as just and nice. The way they treat Naruto should be a major hint of what the High Council is like. Can't wait for the day when Naruto takes over.

Eh, nah, I think it was just Orochimaru that time, re: Yamato's genesis. It's just that it was a secret experiment. Personally I tend to see Konoha's morally ambiguous side as being more about that stuff Neji went through. It didn't seem to be a secret, after all. I also do definitely think that there's that hidden conspiracy within Konoha, though, with the "Root" organization. Something is definitely screwed up with Sai.
