So, I have read approximately 250 chapters of Air Gear during a time span of 3 days (this is amongst doing work, soclialising, and watching a copious amount of Super Junior M clips. Sleep is for the weak). And OMFG! I LOVES Air Gear, it is so COMPLETELY insane and over the top, and just so pretty, AND I went through several Aizen-ala-Bleach-like trauma during my mainlining of the series.

There are many points during the series that my brain went "Oh!Greato-sama, you are showing your issues again." Yes, at times I get flashes of Tenjou Tenge, but I enjoy Air Gear much more. Don't get me wrong AG has its share of psychopaths with sadomasochistic tendencies, but its main characters off set the sociopathic tendencies by being really awesome. It is hard to explain but there is this level of energy and almost innocence that TT just didn't have.


Sleeping Forest are the GOOD guys and Sora is the BIG BAD of the STORY! OMFG!! I have not had a moment like that since AIZEN!

Sora has a TWIN (NIKE!)! EEE! WHAT ABOUT RIKA-SAN!? NOOOO!

SPITFIRE! NOOOO! His death was PAINFUL! But at least he and Sano managed to have an incredibly GHEI touching send off. And seriously, just how much of the video did you tape?

SANO! You CAN'T be EVIL! You can't be ALIVE! You and Spitfire were meant to DIE TOGETHER, and have MUCH GHEI AFTERLIFE SEX! WHY?! Also, LEAVE the FLAME REGALIA to Kazu! Don't STEAL your lover's friend's memory!

LIND-SAMA! I'm not sure what to feel for you EXCEPT to say - STOP TURNING AGITO/AKITO STRAIGHT! They're MEANT to be GHEI! But you are kind of AWESOME, and if you weren't so terribly underage I would think of you as really hot.

RINGO! WHERE ARE YOU?! I did NOT realise just how bad-ass you were; now I do, but I CANNOT forgive you for lying to Ikki and Rika. Also, what you did to Simca was NOT cool.

KAZU! OMFG! I CRY FOR YOU! Remember, no matter what, you are the next FLAME KING! Please do not be disheartened by the loss of the lover’s memento Flame Regalia.

BENKEI-SAMA! LET ME HAVE YOUR CHILDREN!

Also, Yoshitsune, you are such an awesome idiot. I kind of like you.

I'm SO HORRIBLY addicted to this series it is kind of insane.

ETA: So, does anyone have a copy of the following anime series?
- Air Gear
- Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann

The former because I'm curious, the latter because despite the fact I have only seen 2 episodes of this series I am very curious.
