Iron Man

Saw Iron Man on Saturday. It was pretty damn awesome. The role of Tony Stark was made for Robert Downey Jr., and I'm very glad I stayed till the END of the credits because Samuel L. Jackson appears from the shadows as Nick Fury, General/Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. This makes me squee with glee because it ties beautifully into the planned Avengers film that will out sometime in the near future. This is the only film where Gwyneth Paltrow did not irritate me; in fact I thought she was just lovely as Pepper Potts.

The preview for The Incredible Hulk looked amazing, and I’m going to watch the film because Edward Norton is like a god and Tony Stark will be making a cameo appearance! Also, Indiana Jones preview – it can be either awesome or really, really, really bad.

She was glorious. I was so intensely surprised by the fact that I adored her to bits in this film.

Also, I'm so LOOKING forward to your bigbang. It is going to be awesome.

There are some lovely bits of fiction here about Tony and Pepper. I've been poking my toes into fandom, apparently Steve (Captain America) loves Tony. It's an incredibly well-written ship manifesto that I really enjoyed.

it's only half as long as monotogari but we hope it will be a little bit as awesome <.<

Captain America so loves Tony. I remember some of the comics and OMFG! They are so Meant To Be. Except you know, the whole death thing just won't allow it.

I like Monotogari... I just liked some of the other BB fics more. I AWAIT for your fic!!

I downloaded some New Avengers comics last night. I'm looking forward to reading them! :3 And pshaw, death never stopped a superhero for long, let's be honest!

tbqh I still haven't read more than a handful of last year's bigbang fics! I was on exams at the time, and I never got the chance :(

Samuel L. Jackson Nick Fury is the epitome of BadAss. Tony Stark has issues, and from memory at one point or another the billion dollar SHIELD headquater was destroyed when he was the leader. This distressed him muchly, not because of the money (the government bought it for him) but rather it was coloured the same as his suit. Yes, but Captain America has been dead for awhile (I think, it has been a long time since I was up to date with the Avengers.)

You MUST READ! OMFG! Some of the fics are AWESOME! I would recommend you some of the fics except with the destruction of my computer over the weekend my files are in disarray. I'm still trying to figure what I have and what I have lost.

I was almost cheering when he came on \o/ Also you forgot one of his initials, it's Samuel L. MF. Jackson ;)

I think he died in Civil War? So it's about time he came back, right...

I read monotogari, and the telepathy one, and uh... I'm sure I read more than that :(

AHAHAHA! It was so cool that they got Samuel L. MF. Jackson for the role of Nick Fury, especially when the character design is based off the actor.

Yes, he died in Civil War, shot down, and Tony had a nervous break down of epic proportions (not that he wasn't broken down already). But yes, it is about time he comes back.

My favourite one has to be the one with Baba Yaga - Swear By All Flowers (http://sweetestdrain.livejournal.com/179948.html) by [livejournal.com profile] sweetestdrain.

Also, The Knuckles of Skinnybone Tree (http://hansbekhart.livejournal.com/265125.html) by [livejournal.com profile] hansbekhart is pretty much my other favourite fic from last year's batch.

For RPS; [livejournal.com profile] destina's The Truth About Heaven (http://destina.livejournal.com/406426.html).

I can't stand fics with unhappy ending, and while there were some amazing pieces last year I wouldn't recommend them because I need my silver lining. Basically if the boys ends up being separated; death, or other forms of separation I refuse to read, or if I have read I refuse to re-read again. This isn't saying I don't like angst, I just require a happy ending to go along with the angst.

Yeah, I read a scan of the "confession" scene and all the fangirls were like "HE SHOULD HAVE SAID 'I LOVE YOU' ;__;"

Oh, I've read Skinnybone Tree, that was pretty cool! (didn't realise that was a bigbang fic, wups) *bookmarks others*

I'm definitely with you on the happy ending, there! As much angst as you like, as long as they're together at the end. :3

YES!!!!

Yep, it is indeed BigBang.

YES! Happy endings make the story for me. If I sit through over 50,000 words of angst there better be a happy ending.
