OMFG! OMFG! Nadal just CLIMBED on top of the box seats to get to his parents, and then straight to the Royal Box; where the Spanish Royalties hugged him and shook his hands. Just how much PROTOCOL did he break? AHAHAAHAHA! Oh, Nadal, you are so awesome.

Rafael Nadal, Winner of Wimbledon 2008. 22-yr-old, and played one of the best match I have ever seen.

Also, Federer, omfg, Federer, how awesome you are. Thank you for that amazing match. Thank you so very much. You are still the World #1, this is not the end, this is a minor set-back, you have changed yourself so many times in the past to become World #1, and you can do it again. I look forward to your future matches with much excitement.

OVER 4 hours of match and the whole centre court is practically in complete darkness.

It was AWESOME. I kept on making screaming noises throughout the first 2 hours of the match until I lost the battle against the flu tablets and the need for sleep. However, the first thing I did this morning was to check out clips of the match.

Federer was amazing in this match, he pushed himself so much (so did Nadal, and there was this bit during the third set where he fell on his knee and I was terrified that he injured himlsef seriously), and went from a sure three sets loss to coming back to a 5 sets loss. And for awhile there I really couldn't tell you who was going to win. It was awesome.

It is just this was the match I have been waiting for.

However, the fact that there was NO LIGHTS on centre court at 9pm in the evening was just such a surreal moment.

The last 3 sets was INTENSE! It is why I LOVE tennis with LITTLE DRAWN OUT HEARTS! And why despite the Greatness that is Federer I wanted someone to CHALLENGE the KING! Because yes, Federer is AMAZING, but he was winning so easily, and I love tennis because it is a very intense sport about 2 people pushing each other to the limit and then going beyond that limit, and it is just Glorious.

But um, yes, the last 3 sets was amazing tennis.
