Seeing everyone again was an absolute treat; the understated death of Izumi was painful, it was right (she was missing half of her internal organs the fact that she lived as long as she did was truly impressive.)
Al, 13-yr-old, in the flesh, looking like Ed, I couldn’t decide if I want to cry or laugh. . Alfons, the man that Al can one day be, oh, to hear his mature voice rather than the voice of the child… just perfect.
Wrath; his sacrifice being his gift to Al and Ed, and possibly an end of all the bad things; to see his mother… scene was executed perfectly.
Roy stationing himself as far away from Central as humanly possibly made sense, it is in his character. That didn’t mean I didn’t SQUEE like the fan I am when he reappeared in Central; shouting orders left and right, and people obeying, because no matter how he pretend to be a follower he is not. Roy Mustang is so much more; he is the Flame Alchemist, the man who is going to change a nation if not the world. Roy waiting for Ed; there are no words because their relationship is so complex, they are not friends, they never can be, but oh, comrades they are.
King Bradley being Fritz Lang, OMFG! I could not stop laughing. Of course he had to be Fritz Lang, who else was he going to be? *giggles madly*
And of course, one of the last scenes; Scar and Lust, oh, FMA producers, how I love thee.
