Still the bestest film ever. Directing, acting, script and plot. Just so damn awesome. So, this will take my viewing of the film to, um, time #6.

I was thinking that Jon Favreau and the writing team for the film are geniuses; in the time span of 30 seconds they managed to cross through 40 years of canon and pretty much update Iron Man to the new millennium. There is much admiration on my part.

Now knowing a bit more about the Iron Man comics canon, I really, really, really hope that Favreau will continue to follow Ellis’ Extremis plot. After all they pretty much took most of Iron Man’s origin from it, and the design for the movie Iron Man suit is heavily influenced by Granov, artist for the same series. It would be awesome.

Also, I wonder how they are going to handle the whole ‘need armour now to fight evil’ as opposed to spending several minutes donning the armour with the aid of machines. Please not the suit case.

In short; I love the film.
