In summary, over 20 years ago Lucy Monostone managed to encourage his congregation to take their own lives through the ability to raise death drive in people. ‘Gakuso’ apparently thought that he was an excellent example of the perfect controllable killer, and went about developing a eugenics project with the goal of re-creating Lucy Monostone. To be more accurate Gakuso went about creating a better, a perfect form for the soul of Amamiya Kazuhiko. Gakuso decides to use Lucy Monostone’s music as the OS for the barcode samples (individuals), though it seems that some of the samples are corrupted and are driven into insane killing rage on hearing his music. The Japanese branch of Gakuso appears to be headed by Professor Amamiya who calls Kazuhiko his son.

20 odd years later Yosuke Kobayashi lands on a case that resulted in the death of his girlfriend and as a consequence develops MPD. Except it appears that Shinji was active well before that point, as he was messing around playing the ‘MPD Detective’, solving cases for people who have much money.

Shinji Nishizono was also in contact with Shimazu (I’ll add A at the end of his name for now), and two siblings; Ooe Kimihiko and ‘C’, both of whom are descendents of Lucy Monostone who all wish to see the end of the world and hunt down barcode samples. It is found out that Shimazu’A’ was killed off by Shimazu’B’; a set up by Gakuso.

Wakana reveals that Lucy Monostone’s soul slept within Ooe as his birthday was the day that Lucy Monostone died. Lucy Monostone took over Ooe during the confrontation with Wakana. Wakana Lucy Monostone in Oos’s body is killed by Wakana stating that ‘their’ (Ooe or Lucy’s?) was the perfect form for Amamiya Kazuhiko and that they Gakuso no longer requires Lucy Monostone’s soul to create a being that can utilise his abilities. A little while later Wakana kills C stating that Miwa will take her place. Shinji seemed sad on finding the corpse of Ooe.

Shimazu’B’ kills Yosuke’s girlfriend, which starts off the manga series.

NB: Kimihiko calls Shinji boss, and it is obvious that they knew each other well, and Shinji apparently have had his memories sealed for one reason or another.

Amamiya Kazuhiko is a program that causes other personalities to appear in an individual. Except Shinji Noshizono is different as he is a naturally occurring personality as opposed to artificially created.

So, Machi also have another personality; Isono Wakana, and she kind of terrifies me. Hell, from the little of the flashback it seems Wakana was an excellent killer in pigtails 20 years ago.

Teu is part of Gakuso, and Gakuso is an organisation that originated from America with a focus on racial eugenics with the goal of creating the controllable killer via the ‘barcode project’.

There are hints of Amamiya fusing with Tetora, which makes sense because Miwa died in order to protect and pass on Amamiya to Tetora for safe keeping, and in order to make him whole. EXCEPT why did Miwa do this if she was created to - hell, I don' even know why she was created... except possibly to be what C was for Ooe; lovers and confidants. But Miwa does say that she fell in love with Michi, and that she died wanting to preserve Michi's happiness, which was the survival of Amamiya Kazuhiko.

Why the hell is Amamiya Kazuhiko so different and so important? He has not done anything awesome. Gods, I just want more Tetora.

I think I have it right. My brain really hurt; this is what happens when I don’t read a series for over 3 years, and for the life of me I can’t remember how volume 10 ended. Hell, I don’t even remember whether I read volume 10. I need this series to have some sort of end that doesn’t make me want to slit my own wrists or brain myself with a desk due to the complete and utter mind fuck it is.

I need an icon of Tetora or Amamiya Kazuhiko, or hell even Shinji Nishizono will do... the one 20 odd years ago, not the scary dude of now.
