Saw 3 episodes of Merlin (1, 2 & 4); AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Talk about historically inaccurate, but omfg! It is all sorts of fun, I'm not even talking about the subtext. It’s just that I haven't seen a show that enjoys itself this much in a very long time. It isn't high art, but it is light and fun, though I'm very glad the adolescent angst didn't seem to last beyond episode 1. I think I shall continue to watch.

HIYA GWEN! Lady Helen indeed.

The Dragon is so smug. AHAHAHA! I LOVE it so very much, the CHUCKLE!

The expression on Merlin and Arthur's face when Uther declared Merlin to be Arthur's Manservant. AHAHAHA! BESTEST DUO-BITCH!FACES EVER!

Episode 2
It is interesting how Arthur trust Merlin so implicitly.

Arthur is this curious mixture of dickhead and hero-to-be. The boy truly dislike diplomacy and talking, and he is so very good at fighting and killing. I found it absolutely fascinating how Arthur can be a prat one minute and in the next be a Prince with all the innate strength and responsibility that is required. There is this sense of self possession that Arthur exhibit that just drags you in. Also, he is really, really good at fighting.

Episode 4
I found it all sort of awesome that Morgana pulled out a dagger at the dinner table when it was revealed the goblet was poisoned.

And OMFG! Arthur CARRYING Merlin to bed, the way he is so damn protective of Merlin. OMFG! This series is like written to be SLASHED!

Arthur DEFYING his father and RISKING his LIFE to save Merlin!

And OMFG! It is like a fucking SOUL-BOUND between Arthur and Merlin! WTFF!!!? SLASH! IT IS EVERYWHERE I TELL YOU!

The whole scene between Uther and Arthur in the dungeon; OMFG! SUCH AN AWESOME SCENE! ARTHUR YOU ARE AWESOME! Also, the scene between Arthur and Gwen, I love the way it played out, I absolutely adore Arthur in the scene.

Arthur and Uther on the battlement of Camelot; OMFG! I LOVE their relationship, the way that Uther tries to be a father but is a King above all else. So many secrets locked away in your silver head, what happened 20 years ago UTHER?

In other words; I love this Arthur. And Merlin is the snarkiest of the snark ever to have ever snark’d.

Also, DAVID TENNANT!! Well, it was bound to happen, but dammit.

Be warned it isn't high art, but it is fun, and I didn't realise just how much I needed something light like this before I saw it. [Considering my watching nowadays consist of SPN and Sarah Connor Chronicles, it isn't surprising that I needed some fluff in my life].

Arthur, well, I find Arthur utterly brilliant and fascinating.

That is exactly my viewing list. I've watched the first two episodes and they do seem fun, which is...yes, a relief.

It is! The light hearted-ness, the snark, and this complete disregard for history. It makes me smile.

I really want to blog about TSCC, except my brain gets horribly tangled, and all I want to say is, 'I LOVE this SHOW!' and 'John Connor is really fucked in the head'.

I do watch The Office, but that's something I watch with the partner, and while it can be funny it doesn't really leave me with a sense of relief.

Oh my god, I love John Connor so much. Like--I just adore him, in a way that is entirely unhealthy. Thomas Dekker is amazing.

I do watch The Office

I watch Boston Legal over the phone with my mom, which is lovely, but yes, not the same sense of reief.

I think Thomas Dekker is absolutely amazing as John Connor as opposed to the wet blanket of the third film. This John I can believe will be the saviour of humanity, the man who makes the choices that damn individuals but saves the mass. This John I want to hug and cookies to, except I can't because he need to be who is, who he will become, and omfg! He is so absolutely fucked up because of it. I just LOVE him to bits.

Boston Legal! I mainline the series at the end of every season. My childhood crush on James Spader has not abided by an iota. Also, Denny and Alan; BESTEST HETERO-FRIENDS EVER!

Oh, absolutely. John Connor is one really fucked individual, but given his life you believe it. The 3rd movie just seemed so strange, because that was not how I pictured John turning out!

My childhood crush on James Spader has not abided by an iota.

James Spader is totally my hero. I love that show. It's funny and smart and crack on TV.

Ohohohohoho. Slowly, this series is taking in all of the slashers out there.

Mwahahahahahahahaha.

I have an MU download link for 1.3 if you want.

Hopefully, it works. I've been suspicious of MU lately. It seems to work fine and then, the moment you turn your back, it assrapes you and refuses to download.

I have upload of episodes until 1.6

Thank you! It appears to be downloadin fine.

I've got episode 1, 2, 4, & 5, but have not yet got episode 6. I would love to get episode 6!

I'm really quite surprised by how I much I enjoy this series. It isn't the best written series, but all the characters delivers, and I love the series allows much hand waving if necessary.

With each episode I just love Arthur more and more.
