Life and American Idol... WTF?!

I have somehow, managed to make my pulled stomach muscle worse over the span of the evening. Presently I can't stand up straight or lay down straight on the bed because OUCH! Pain to me! Walking is OK as long as I hunch my back but that hurts my back after awhile. So, I'm stuck home for the day, which is not a bad thing in itself but there had been plans >___<.

To make my morning more unbearable my dad took the kettle with him today so now I can't make coffee... well, I'm currently boiling water on the stove so, um, yeah!(?)

Also, I may or may not be looking for David Cook of American Idol fanfiction. (LOOK, it isn’t my fault, someone had the youtube links up and I’m a compulsive clicker of links, and the next thing I know I’m mainlining his performances, and he went from his OMFG!A DOUGH!baby in Action to a OMFG!YOU ARE SO VERY HOT MAN! And I may LOVE you because you are also KIND of AWESOME! And JUST! I DON’T KNOW OK?!)

I am sorry for your stomach pain, though!

Re: your last paragraph
OMFG! Fandom brain is so OSMOSIS!I found the links about 50 minutes ago and have been mainlining astolat's fanfiction like there is no tomorrow. Unfortunately there is only 5 or 6 fics written by her, butt delicious is helping a bit with some extra recs.

Gods, David Cook is just kind of all sort of awesome.

*HANGS HEAD IN SHAME*

Well, it's frickin' ASTOLAT. Amaaaaazing. I have never even watched the show (I have no idea what the guys look like!) and I loved it.

There are some others on Archive of Our Own too.

Re: your last paragraph
See, I have astolat on my flist, so, being stuck at home; walking still pull on the stomach, I kind of thought that I may as well check on this Cook guy that Astolat was so obsessed about, and then I clicked on his rendition of Bllie Jean and I pretty much WENT COMPLETELY INSANE OVER THE MAN! And then I STARTED reading articles about him and I pretty much WENT OMFG! I LOVE THE MAN! And from that point onwards it was pretty much FANFICTION TIME !

ASTOLAT is AWESOME!!!!!!

Re: your last paragraph
I should get around to adding all these amazing fandom people to my friendslist someday...

Re: your last paragraph
If nothing else then for the AMAZING fics. I tend to friend people based purely on fic production and shared interest.

Mind you, I'm like the classic example of a lurker. Though I do try to comment. Mostly.

Re: your last paragraph
Not that I usually friend non-local people on this journal anyway. But I haven't added anyone new to my fandom friends list in ages (unless they added me first).

I have started keeping a del.icio.us list of fics tagged "to_comment". >.>
