Keanu Reeves Eager To Do ‘Something Good’ With ‘Cowboy Bebop’ Movie

Give me some time here I'm kind of freaking out about them even attempting to make CB into a live-action film. I'm not sure whether I'm going to throw up or smile. Oh gods, mosty likely the latter because OMFG! Anything that have Cowboy Bebop attached to it makes me want to smile and dance in joy.

All I can think about while reading the article is that, well, is that it may actually work. I mean Keanu Reeves does have the physical characteristics to play Spike, and Spike is such a dead-pan character most of the time that it would actually work. From the interview it sounds like he is a fan and he wants to do the right thing by it, and I'm kind of excited about the film but absolutely TERRIFIED!

Oh man, I love Keanu Reeves. He also wanted to be Wolverine, I think? He always sounds so enthusiastic, and not in the "I'm promoting my new movie" way other actors sometimes seem to be pulling. Also, it sounds cool! It'd kind of have to go the way of The Bourne Identity, but could be good in its own right. & you're right, he does have the look.

So going to see that new flick of his with dad. IT is going to be awesome.

I think they can do an awesome job of it but I'm picturing more of a Ocean's 11 crossover'd with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Either way it has potential to be awesome (or major suckage).
