The 11th Doctor; Matt Smith (even his name is generic, not in a bad way, just very blend).

I think the casting is actually a stroke of genius, an unknown to beat all the rumours, and he does have an interesting look. I am, however, slightly weary of his age. But no judging till I see him in action.

ETA: Perhaps we are beginning to type-cast the Doctor here, just a bit. I was kinda hoping for someone that isn't white or perhaps even a woman. Oh, well.
