Why did people have to get into JoJo this year? I had the manga around all last year, but it's on my external HD in the US this year. :/

I haven't even read it myself. I thought I was the only one with an interest (aside from my brother, who practically worships the series), so I didn't bother to read through the really, really, really bad art of the first part. And now everyone decides to get into it.

Heh, the art takes some getting used to at first, but by part three it's mostly straightened out anatomically. (Maybe you could try internet cafe if you don't want to get the connection?)

Oh, at the beginning it's not really the lack of the pretty (I think the pretty only really begins to happen in part five, maybe part 4, depending on how you define it), just basic weirdness of the art, anatomically.

And after you see part 3, then you should see CLAMP's Jojo fanart, which considering that the art around part 3 is v. unCLAMPlike, is even more brain-breakage. XD
