Dr. Gregory House is hot.

Cuddy and House exchanging sarcasm and wit is really, really, really hot.

Thank you House for making the statement that woman in their forties is amazingly hot.

The show contains the most normal fucked up individuals ever.

Cameron is a wet blanket.

Wilson is surprisingly manipulative, evil and screwed up.

....P.S....

Dear God,

When I'm in my forties I want to be like Cuddy and Stacy because they are hot, sarcastic and will castrate anyone who attempt to fuck with them.

Much Love,
naanima

Did you just start watching?
I'm not too into House-the-man as sex idol, but Cuddy is indeed incredibly hot. :D

I love Cameron, though; she's definitely one of my favourite characters on the show. Her fucked-upness is somehow way more endearing to me than a lot of the other characters', except where it makes me want to shake her (see: the bits where she can't do her job out of soppiness). I take it from your 'wet blanket' statement that you don't ship Cameron/Wilson or Cameron/Foreman? :D

Re: Did you just start watching?
It is the snark, the stubbles and the intelligence to back up the snark with. I love a man who is competent. Cuddy is hot.

Cameron is someone I cannot stand for the simple reason of her fucked-upness (yes, the bits where she can't do her job, and the fact that her self-sacrificing nature, when it comes down to it, is incredibly selfish, the case with the babies being infected.) Sorry darling, but the thought of Cameron/Wilson make me break out in hives, though the thought of Cameron/Foreman is really kind of hot. Yes, I love Foreman. XP

Re: Did you just start watching?
That's why I like Foreman. Well, aside from the stubble. :D

I think part of the reason I'm more able to forgive Cameron for that than most of fandom seems to be is that I do see her as selfish, but I don't condemn that at all. I like that she's so consistently drawn, that she always looks out for herself & her soft heart first, and her idealistic (sometimes wrongheaded) principles directly after. She annoyed me almost as much as Chase and Wilson did when I watched my first episode--the baby one, actually--but I found her character, flaws and all, much more sympathetic as I watched more. I love Cameron/Foreman even more because it leaves Chase out in the cold, :D. I mean, I like the kid now, but I like him even more when he emphatically does not get what he wants.

I can understand why she does what she does and that's probably why I don't hate her. Having said that I honestly dislike her (not hate!) for all the reasons you pointed out. I see Chase and I'm like "JESSE SPENCER! OMFG! It is like one step away from lusting after Eric Bana, and that's just soooo wrong! I mean he's like BILLY fucking KENNEDY from Neighbours" *koffs*

Re: Did you just start watching?
Well, I almost definitely wouldn't like her in real life. :D The only character I can see actually being friends with is House himself; even Stacy and Cuddy and Foreman have done or said things that would have put me off them if they were real. :D! I'm so very glad I didn't watch Neighbours. (My family is into Home & Away.) I luckily don't have that reaction.

Do you watch Monk? Or Grey's Anatomy?

Biatch! I BOW before your Icon of AWESOMENESS! Tachibana as a Sanzo (because no one else can be the 'sanzo' but -a- Sanzo is fine) is waaaay hot.

House is cool but would drive me insane as a friend. I suspect I'd need to curb the urge to kill on a regular basis, and to tell you the truth I'd like my friendships to be a bit more than just murderous rage -_-;;; Which is GOOD, but I swear it is just so wrong to see Jesse Spencer all grown up! Furthermore, I can't watch Home & Away. The series just refuses to die!

When people dump the series on my computer I shall watch. Grey's Anatomy looked interesting though Monk makes me want to throw things. I think it is the bad depiction of someone suffering from OCD that gets to me. But you know, issues on my part.

Re: Did you just start watching?
He totally is! If only he wore the robes to play tennis.

House is the least likely to drive me insane; most of his annoying points are pretty similar to the less annoying annoying points of some of my family members and friends, and likewise with his over-the-topness. My murderous rage only ever comes about when people do more Cameron-and-Wilson sorts of things. (Coddling, lying in awful ways for reasons of tact, patronising, hypocrisy, etc.) Home and Away is kind of like 90210, in the way it seems to be high school, stretched to all eternity.

I think I have most of Grey's. If we ever meet, I could dump it. :D I always forget that Monk is supposed to be OCD; I just think of him as unbearably neurotic due to a heightened sense of awareness. I love him as a character, though.

Except she kind of did it.... Well not into the Stacy bashing wagon but she left him after the mess.
I can't really hate her because House loves her so much. You know, when she asked him if he could lost his leg for her life, his "of course" get me every single time.
Everyone saw the manipulative strike in her but what I saw was a very in love woman who was left with two losing option.

I really like Stacy. Personally, I don't see where the hate is coming from, I can understand perfectly why she did what she did; being in love with someone and living with them are two very different things.

The episode where she tells him that she both love and hated him, WORD! And yes, when House said; 'Of course,' I was like 'OMFG! I take back ALL the uncharitable things I ever said about you!'

house was off to a great start! it's still looking good well into the second season... i'm glad you're liking it!

the strength of the series over all the other medical dramas out there is its focus on the extremely interesting main character, and the use of a strong, adult supporting cast. i like it precisely because it doesn't pander to a teen audience, or to people who seek identification with the characters... it's a hard-hitting surprise when you find yourself emotionally connecting with the characters. much rabu in that ♥

I love how all the characters are so complex (and screwed up) for complete normal reasons. Interestingly enough I think it is the lack of pandering to an audience that makes the characters so real to me. When I see the relationship between House and Wilson (or House and Cuddy) I honestly can say I know people like that in my life (they react similarly), and it is that 'realism' to the characters that gets to me.
