Note to self: becoming a vegeterian is much more attractive when it can lead to weight loss. Consider later.

Note to self 2: plucking takes too long, buy foam, wax is scary, and the fact that I trip over my own feet does not inspire the use of a razor... and laser is too expensive.

Note to self 3: Mail DVDs out. [livejournal.com profile] i_smile, it is coming!

ETA: What do everyone else use? I think I have asked about this before but I can't find it anywhere, and this time I want SPECIFICS! Gel? Razor? Foam? Wax? NEED INFORMATION!

Where do you want to get rid of the hair? For below-the-knee legs, a guy's electric razor does pretty well. It would probably do fine on the upper leg, too, but I don't know about knees.

Under arms, a sharp cheap razor and soap does fine. I'm using a "guy facial" razor, because hahahahaha, they are cheaper than the pink ones.

On legs, to get rid of anything the electric missed (because it's the spouse's old one and it's getting dull), the dullest el cheapo razor I can find that still works at all. No nicks, most times! Also, it means I can have the same cheap razor for six years, muwhahaha!

Facial -- and why does pregnancy have to have a chance of provoking facial hair? and why do I have to have a Shaggy style goatee pattern?? -- goes back to a sharp el cheapo razor and a light touch, with soap.

For Other Places, the guy electric razor comes into play again, this time with the sideburn/beardclipper attachment. It leaves some stubble, but it's short and doesn't itch most places or cause, ah, the porcupine's dilemma. At least, not on the area I use it.

I need to get something done about the beard. Light skin, dark hair, and I look like a particularly disreputable highwayman. O:p
