Lol, I think the only way to get something just the way you want it is to do it yourself. Most of the suikoden doujinshi makes me want to hit my head against a wall. Viktor raping Flik? IN GOD'S NAME WHY? Now, I seriously want an understated McDohl<->Geddoe which may or may not end in sex. Unlikely that anyone would draw or write for it. *le sigh*

Lulz at FC/Geddoe. The manga actually gave quite a bit of backstory. Actually, playing the game and reading the books simultaneously actually make for quite a coherant story. If the game felt a bit bare in some places, the manga fills it in quite nicely. I like Aki Shimizu's style. That and she draws a super hot Geddoe. His story deviates a bit from the game in that he knew the FC gave up his rune and died, and his mixed emo about that. *cough*

With Cray I thought he just went crazy against the rune that messed up his life. orz I totally missed that bit about wanting to see his son again. Fancy that. D: I'm still bitter the final boss was a big...tree.

Hm I get the feeling Leon always likes to apply his philosophy as much as he could, just to see how perfect it really is. The Liberation army was there and convenient and so he joined. The waste of Mathieu's life saddened me most. He's still one of my favourite strategists. orz. Not the best strategist (that's Leon), but the one who comes off the most humane? How'd you rank the Suiko Strategists from all the games in terms of skill? *curious*
