Naruto & Sasuke: I like them, whether they are fucking or not. Love all the fucked-up emotional-ness and the missed chances. On a completely unabiased (and not FANGIRL-view) I see them as brother-in-arms.

Orochimaru and Sasuke: because they are fascinating in the way that they don't kill each other, and the way that they work well together.

Sasuke and Itachi: There should be more, because the thought of the one you love the most destroying everything you ever cared about is interesting.

There's a surprising amount of Uchihacest out there, but very little on Sasuke and Itachi as, well, mortal enemies without the sex?
Why is that? :( I mean, I have nothing against sex with one's severely traumatised and obsessive underaged brother, but there should be more fic where they meet up for hate/apathy parties, and possibly kill one another or die in ways a ninja would be too embarrassed to mention ever.

Which is really strange, I mean ok, incest, I can read it but the abuse angle (especially between Itachi & Sasuke) makes me highly uncomfortable and squicks me. To tell you the truth; I want to read them as bothers (sure, Sasuke hates Itachi but Itach is still family). No matter how much Sasuke hates Itachi he can never let certain things, the fact that Itachi use to be his dead-older-brother is something that will always be with him. I truly do believe that if Sasuke ever manages to kill Itachi he would be emotionally devastated. NO sex.

Tir & Luc (not in the first game, but possibly just before the 3rd game. In my head they meet up one more time before Luc does the suicide dive. I- I think I read that. But it wasn't- it just wasn't as calm and understated as i wanted to (at this point my brain is shouting at me; "if they were any calmer they wouldn't have pulse.") It was good- it just wasn't the fic I wanted.

I love Suiko3 the game, but man, there were times when I went; what? Like the whole Chris and Jimba thing (I forgot to drop the amulet thing at Chris' house.) No, no, no; apparently when the Rune abandoned him and went after his son who died as a consequence. Also, since the rune takes the souls (memories?) of its former user Cray wanted it so that he might have seee his son again. It is all quite sad, and made me all sniffly. Leon is an opportunist (you got to love him for it.) Yes, Matthieu was definitely the most humane out of all of the Silverbergs (Caesar, I suspect may have the humanity but does not have the humility.)

EXACTLY! Meredith has these amazing relationships (and at times CHEMISTRY) with most of the cast. But by the gods you do not want to be in any on them. I don't mind the sex, it is the emotionally baggage that screws up her character for me.

CANON ROMANTIC! - Hiruma/Mimori. It is the fact that they act as if they understand each other. No need to say anything and they understand *remembers the end Death March Training*. She doesn't put up with his bullshit, and he actually respects her. It is just beautiful. Also, they are like Papa & Mama to Sena (what a beautiful and highly dysfunctional family.)

CANON PLATONIC! - Where do I even START with this? But.. um, ok, my favourite canon platonic couple has got to be Hiruma and Agon. I love the fact that there is such a tension between the 2 of them whenever they are sharing the same space. They have this intensity that just sucks me in completely, the fact that at any moment one of them can do serious danger to one another- yet, still walking that line, it is just awesome. Also, they act like retards when together ^__^.

CANON PLATONIC 2! - Kid & Tetsuma! OMFG! I love them beyond reason; the bits you get of the two them as little-people makes me all sniffly. There is just something so wonderful about a relationship that has withstood time, also, their complete trust in one another is something that makes me giggle like an idiot.

Both Hirum&Agon and Kid&Tetsuma makes it, for all the reasons I stated for liking them as platonic relationships. Actually, most of my fav yaoi-pairings are usually platonic relationships with sex.

Also, Shin&Sena! In a completely pink!bubble shoujo way (I can't not picture them doing anything more than holding hands, but my inner!shoujo romance fangirl scream that they are MEANT!TO!BE! In that HighSchool romance kind of way- without the inappropriate groping.)

The only thing that redeems comics for me sometimes is the knowledge that, if I wait around for a year or two, the painful things will no longer be canon, or they will have twisted themselves in such a way that they can be fanwanked into awesome.
