I'm in denial. =P I'm more interested in the WHAT-IFs and the possible angst.

Never mind what canon harps on, I can't see Conrad as being more as a brother or mentor - bringing Julia's soul to earth in the capacity of protector, with faint nurturing overtones, killed all chance of romance. Yea, special relationship, but something more profound than romance, I reckon.

So yes, I will unashamedly say I just want fluff, which is something I can't see Yuuri sharing with Conrad, by virtue of the fact it makes the relationship almost shallow. o__O So Wolfram fills that gap for me - quite conveniently too, in his set-up as the fiancee. And it's obvious that he's already in love with Yuuri. The possible what-ifs of unrequited love just grabs me.

I am such a sucker for angst.
