Let’s get the whole Anna is an angel thing out of the way. LOVE IT! From the whole losing her ‘Grace’ to becoming a human to regaining her ‘grace’, love all of it. From a complete world building aspect I love the idea of angels becoming humans, and human becoming demons. In many ways it raises the question of just how Lucifer retained his powers despite falling.
Dean and Anna’s sex scene was awesome in silence. The music kind of made me wince but OMFG! Dean’s shoulders are amazing. Also, why does Dean’s sex scene always make me laugh yet Sam’s sex scene always makes me fan myself. [It cracks me up that Dean end up on the bottom during sex. AHAHAHAHAHA].
Once again new Ruby blows me away with her awesome. From her interaction with Sam and Dean to the Angels, and then to Alistair [BTW: I didn’t find the torture scene to be gratuitous, I thought it was necessary to pave the way for Dean’s revelation at the end of the episode. That they needed to show exactly how horrible Hell is that Dean, our hero, chose to torture others, and that what Dean did to others in Hell was evil. So, to me, the torture of Ruby was necessary for audience to understand why Dean did what he did and why he feels so much guilt because of it].
Pamela is awesome and I’m glad she is alive. The end.
Castiel LIKES Dean! YAY! Also, he is so going to fall. BTW: Love the fact that Anna is technically his boss, and their interaction is so charged with things unsaid. It is pretty damn awesome. Castiel didn’t want to kill Anna, he didn’t want to fight Dean, oh, the conflict on his face. So very sweet the man pain.
In conclusion; awesome episode.
ETA: Wait, what? No NEW episodes for 6 WEEKS? WHAT? WHAT? In the immortal words of James T. Kirk - "KHAAAAAAAAN!"
