Tir & Luc (not in the first game, but possibly just before the 3rd game. In my head they meet up one more time before Luc does the suicide dive. Tir tells him all the things about being a True Rune holder without saying anything, and Luc walks out of that meeting with much resolve, Tir lets him go because you can never live someone else's life for them.)

Caesar & Albert - because i have a thing for fucked-up family, and I want to know what they were like, how they ended up where they were, and maybe the futures yet untold.

Elenor and Cray: So much there that was unsaid.

Leon & Mathhiu: I don't even know where to start... because I love Matthiu, because they should have had a chance.

Someone actually wrote a fic about Tir and Luc just before the second firebringer war. It was amazingly well written, I recall. I've got to dig up the link. Although I suspect you might have read it before. There was also a good fic on ff.net (shock) about Tir on gambling with Gaspar. But yes I totally agree with you about Mcdohl and Luc.

I like how I'm slowly digging up Geddoe/FC fans, from different corners of the internets. Noone really talks about it which sucks.

I didn't truly understand the relationship between Elenor and Cray, not really. Next thing I knew rocks were coming down.

Caesar and Albert are supremely fucked up. I haven't gotten to the end of Sui3 yet, so I'm still in the dark why Albert acted like he did. D:

Leon - Mathieu is definately the most messed up family relationship in the suikoverse. D: Having to work next to someone's methods you despise. Well, I still wonder what Mathieu wrote in that letter you had to deliver to Leon in Kalekka.

I- I think I read that. But it wasn't- it just wasn't as calm and understated as i wanted to (at this point my brain is shouting at me; "if they were any calmer they wouldn't have pulse.") It was good- it just wasn't the fic I wanted.

It is the fact that there is not enough information for me to write about the FC and Geddoe. I like interpreting little bits of info, but fo some reason my mind refuses to go beyond; FC/Geddoe HAWT! PRON! NOW!

Elenor and Cray! OMFG! All Cray wanted was to see his SON again, and Elenor was liek; "That's nice biatch, but killing is bad. So I must PUNISH you!" Or something like it.

.... I shall not say anything... let's just say Albert says one sentence that makes me go; "Oh. He's human afterall."

There is SO much I want to know about Leon and Mathieu, and it makes me all sad to realise I'll never get the chance to discover all the reasons! OHHHHHHHH! To be able to read that letter. I keep on thinking it was a combination of Mathieu saying Leon owed him one, that Tir would be the leader Leon will flourish under... or perhaps just a way for Leon to practice his beliefs via Tir's goals and army. I suspect Leon is jsut arrogant enough to play God and try it out.

Lol, I think the only way to get something just the way you want it is to do it yourself. Most of the suikoden doujinshi makes me want to hit my head against a wall. Viktor raping Flik? IN GOD'S NAME WHY? Now, I seriously want an understated McDohl<->Geddoe which may or may not end in sex. Unlikely that anyone would draw or write for it. *le sigh*

Lulz at FC/Geddoe. The manga actually gave quite a bit of backstory. Actually, playing the game and reading the books simultaneously actually make for quite a coherant story. If the game felt a bit bare in some places, the manga fills it in quite nicely. I like Aki Shimizu's style. That and she draws a super hot Geddoe. His story deviates a bit from the game in that he knew the FC gave up his rune and died, and his mixed emo about that. *cough*

With Cray I thought he just went crazy against the rune that messed up his life. orz I totally missed that bit about wanting to see his son again. Fancy that. D: I'm still bitter the final boss was a big...tree.

Hm I get the feeling Leon always likes to apply his philosophy as much as he could, just to see how perfect it really is. The Liberation army was there and convenient and so he joined. The waste of Mathieu's life saddened me most. He's still one of my favourite strategists. orz. Not the best strategist (that's Leon), but the one who comes off the most humane? How'd you rank the Suiko Strategists from all the games in terms of skill? *curious*

I love Suiko3 the game, but man, there were times when I went; what? Like the whole Chris and Jimba thing (I forgot to drop the amulet thing at Chris' house.) Love Shimizu's style, I can re-read Suiko3 (what I have of it for ever and ever). *snorts* Emo!Geddoe is kind of expected... I admit I like emo GEddoe ^_^.

No, no, no; apparently when the Rune abandoned him and went after his son who died as a consequence. Also, since the rune takes the souls (memories?) of its former user Cray wanted it so that he might have seee his son again. It is all quite sad, and made me all sniffly. The tree, was stupid, though at least it wasn't an egg ala FFX.

Leon is an opportunist (you got to love him for it.) Yes, Matthieu was definitely the most humane out of all of the Silverbergs (Caesar, I suspect may have the humanity but does not have the humility.)

... Hmm

1. Elenor Silverberg (she won the war and even stratisesed her own death.)
2. Albert Siverberg (he lost the war... but the thing is, well, it is as if he didn't want to win the war. And when it was all said and done he got what he wanted.)
3. Leon Silverberg (his arrogance was his downfall, especailly in Suiko2.)
4. Matthieu Silverberg (too humane.)
5. Caesar Silverberg (he is still too young.)

It was really difficult, and I may change my mind depend on how I'm feeling tomorrow.
