No, I really can't expand on this feeling or the reasons (though I have my suspicions), it is just this deep, deep, deep wealth of resentment, anger and sheer seething hate for the series. (This is depsite reading 11 volumes of it. However, no more... well, until I stop having the urge to kill, and just maybe it is a love-hate relationship rather than just a plain hate relationship. Moving on, KKM episode 56… anarch_kitty, you are evil, hate cliff-hangers. I think we are finally moving into the main plot, I’m kind of scared for the three brothers. Despite my fanatic ConradxYuri fangirl thoughts I do like Wolfram, and the thoughts of bad things happening to him or Gwendal, or gods-forbid-Conrad makes me all wobble-like. I’m not even going to think about the bad things that are going to happen to Yuri. The Shinou seem to be one of those people who firmly believe that you need to hurt the ones you love in order for them to grow. While I’m inclined towards that school of thought I still wobble at the idea of the boys getting hurt *WOBBLE*

Blade of the Immortal: Hurts.

I really like the Suikoden III manga series, it fills in all the plot holes and add so many layers.

ETA: I admit I'm extremely out of touch with the Saiyuki fandom in the sense that I have no idea (on the details) of what has been happening since volume 9 of the series. However, I do read the odd spoilers and way too many fanfiction based on Saiyuki. So, um, realise the following is made without the new context. Latest issue with the conversation between Hakkai and Gojyo: Really Not That Surprising. After all, Hakkai is the man who killed 1,000 (or was that 10,000?) youkai with his bear hands. That kind of single mindedness, that kind of ruthlessness and that kind of drive usually leaves one a little bit fucked up. Though I stand by the fact that I never questioned Hakkai's hold on sanity, ever (and that's a whole essay about the concept of sanity, and just how sane Hakkai is.) Also, really good timing, with the whole Halloween thing *smiles*

worldserpent, you might like to know that I spent precious accounting-tutorial preparation time yesterday (and this morning around 3:00am) reading Ravages of Time. First off I'd like to say it is a bit too early for me to pass judgement on the series (just finished volume 1), however, I do like the overall feel of it (more 'Chinese' than some of the other adaptations of ROTK) and will definitely be continuing with it.

To tell the truth I'm still trying to get over the urge to squee 'com OMFG! I have this huge soft spot for this particular type of art style. (Though I do have one complaint; the translation causes me massive migraines mainly because I'm pretty sure some of the phonetics is in Cantonese rather than Mandarin, and it takes quite a bit for my brain to go 'Oh! I get it.' I am incapable of making mad leaps of logic at 3 in the morning -_- ;;)

nekomancy, I just realised that I still have your b-day present at my house. Hmm, must get it to you when I have free time.

ETA 1: Where are the GEN!FANFICTION in Stargate Atlantis?! ALL I WANT is some good TEAM-DYNAMIC fanfiction with PLOT, NO p0rn, and OMFGBBQ!NO ROMANCE! WHY is there a LACK?!

Considering how new sga is the amount of slash in the fandom freaks me out. It is not that I can't see the pairing(s) (het and slash) but I'm more obsessed about the whole 'TEAM-DYNAMIC' and 'OMFG!WRAITH and GENNI!' aspect of the series than I am over specific 'pairings'.

In addition, I kind of think Female!Wraith and Sheppard is kind of hawt. *gets shot*

Eyeshield: Crack, how I love thee.

DGrayman: The artwork went from slightly irritating to stunning ♥. I'm completely indifferent to Walker (except when he goes kind of ape-shit). And while I'm interested I've got to admit all the characters so far are kind of, um, meh. perseid, you have got to explain the appeal (and not just in relation to the art I understand the love for the artwork completely.

Perfect Girl Evolution: YES! The plot finally went somewhere! I LOVE this series but I despair of it ever getting anywhere. Mind you, the crack of this series should be enough.

On all things that are anime/manga fandom; Eyeshield 21 and Honey and Clover are my drug of choice at the present time. And we shall never speak again of last Friday's test. Denial is a wonderful friend.

Finally got a day off, and instead of studying and catching up to assignments (mid-semester tests soon to happen) I wasted most of the day away by messing around with the codes to my lj. On the upside my livejournal looks good.

The only worthwhile activity I did do was see the boyfriend *happiness*. I needed that, all relaxed and calm now.

Things I learned this past week:
1. I can be a mean bitch when people don't do the job they are meant to do.
2. I am a control freak.
3. I can complete many things within 5 minutes.
4. Apparently I can be an efficient leader (not a good one, I seem to lack the charisma *pouts*).

Fandom related things : Behind on everything, though I did manage to download 193 of Bleach and chapter 2 of KKM. Something I noticed about the KKM manga; Conrad is really hawt in it.

Advent Children is going to be good! My mind went into temporary shut down when one of the villains referred to Cloud as "onii-san." Take a minute and think on that, and I'm not even talking about the implications of the comment. And the ZACK!scene, which I'm pretty damn sure is the flashback scene in the game with him and Cloud in the truck. OMFG! And CID, and YUFFIE, and see me almost cry when the first thing she say is related to Materia(s), and BARRET asking about Marlene! SQUEE! And so MUCH more! This is me screaming my head off, and thanking all the gaming gods that Square, or Enix, or whatever they're calling themselves nowadays, did NOT forget the plot to FF7. HAPPINESS! ♥

Bleach 179: Kubo Tite = Stealth Shoujo Mangaka.

I would just like to say I LOVE Kubo Tite! I am FOREVER glad that years ago I decided to read a little known manga called Zombie Powder written by a lesser known mangaka named Kubo Tite. Thus, starting my obsessive need to find everything (anything) that he had ever written. Anyways, enough babbling; onto the spoilers.

[EDIT: Spoilers from flowright. Actually, flowright has raised a few interesting points about the Shinigami captains. So, why were there so many open spots for the rank of Captain? I mean based on what has been revealed, half of the Shinigami Captains seem to be from the same generation (Gin, Byakuya, etc.) While a third of them were elected from the generation after Rukia had entered the Shinigami school. I keep on thinking it has something to do with why Urahara got banned from Soul Society (it is damn obvious he can't return,) and why Yoroichi seem to be kind of peeved with the whole Shinigami order (and working with Urahara). But yeah, read flowright's entry about it, she's much more coherent than me on this one.]
